Frank

We spent July 4th at our son's home in the small town of Townsend, Montana. That evening we went to our grandson's home and watched him and it seemed as if every one on ever block within seeing distance was celebrating the event with all kinds of pyrotechnics. We oooh'd and aah'd as some really spectacular devices lit up the dark sky. I wondered if the people were thinking about what The Fourth Of July was really all about? I went for a walk the following morning, and I saw lots of rubbish left. I like your thoughful column.
