Going back and forth to and from Arizona for years, we've spent time in a lot of motels, good AND bad! I remember one[NOT American owned, but "Veddy clean, veddy clean" we were assured when checking in}where I pulled back the bedspread to reveal sheets that were plainly not changed from the last occupant. We demanded another room[it was too late at night to drive somewhere else]. We were sullenly given another room, which luckily passed inspection, but through the window of the first room, I watched the motel owner calmly replacing the bedspread I'd turned back.....no clean sheets were to be put on that bed! Ugh and ugh!The risks we take when we travel!! It pays to stop driving in time to be able to pick and choose the accomodations. Ginny
